Great Audiobook
I loved this book so much more than the first! I felt like I was able to really connect with the characters. I didn’t love Elena in Heartless, but in Soulless I sure did! She proved herself to be a bad B through and through. I love the connection between Elena and Lucian, two lost souls trying to find their purpose. A dark Romeo and Juliet. The audio for this one was fantastic as well, the narration was perfection!
Enemies to lovers romance
Book #2 in the Starcrossed Lovers Trilogy was intense. Elaine Constantine and Lucian Morelli’s story continues in this dark enemies to lovers story. Their chemistry was off the charts fierce and every interaction was explosive. Tor Thom and Desiree Ketchum did a really good job narrating this book. They really brought the characters to life.
A great book two
This book starts right where the previous book left off with no jump in timelines. Elaine has been taken by Lucien and is whisked off to his “hideout”. From there the relationship between the two has room to grow as they are completely isolated. The same problems between the two are present but we get more of an insight into Elaine’s past trauma and Lucien’s family business. Again we are left on a cliffhanger but as this is book two to a trilogy it was expected. I can’t wait to see how this story concludes.
