Skip the last chapter, it doesn’t belong.
This is a good book written from the perspective of Bernie. She is the main protagonist. Cher and Leaphorn play second and third fiddle.
The last chapter does not belong in this book. It does it pass the test, nor is there any particular reason for it. This would’ve never happened in real life, they would’ve waited in for better timing. This is a chapter her dad we have never thought about writing.
Spider Woman’s Daughter
So slow and depressing, sounds like a bunch of mentally challenged adults who are struggling to make their way out of third grade. A very sad representation of the Native American people.
Not a Misogynist
I simply liked the focus on Leaphorn and Chee better.
I find Manuelito less interesting.
Simmply a person preference.
