Publisher Description
It's date night! And medium Pyper Rayne is finally getting some alone time with her oh-so-sexy new boyfriend, Julius. But when a representative from the Witches' Council shows up during appetizers, the romance portion of the evening comes to a screeching halt. Julius is needed to deal with paranormal activity - on a cruise ship to the Caribbean.
An all-expense paid cruise to the Caribbean sounds like the perfect second date until Pyper witnesses the death of a famous rock star. Suddenly Pyper and Julius are caught in the middle of a decade-old homicide. Now the race is on to solve the mystery or history is destined to repeat itself.
Customer Reviews
Good listen
A cruise ship job doesn’t go as planned. Pyper’s ghost speaking role takes front and center. An interesting and entertaining story. Good character development. The narrator did a fantastic job. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Trouble At Sea
This review is for both the book and the audio as I have both and switched back and forth. I love Deanna's books. I was overjoyed to hear what Kane and Jade have up their sleeve for the future. Can't tell! Don't want to spoil it. But I do have to say, I was so delighted to see that Ida Mae got to be solid long enough to taste a drink. She is the funniest thing. I was laughing at her through the whole book. And she played a bigger part in this book. The narrator is wonderful. The reason I rated four stars instead of five is because at the end I felt like the last few chapters drug on too long to get the story out. Her books usually move at a faster pace. It wasn't bad enough that I wouldn't recommend it though. I would even listen/read it again.
