Spray is the heart-warming story of a young girl who's coming of age. After being transplanted from Tennessee, Geraldine and her four sisters end up in El Segundo California, near the beach. El Segundo in the 1950s was not as desirable as Torrance or Palos Verdes California, but this was the only place their now widowed father could afford. The only past time that the girls could afford was a free day at the beach. This is where Geraldine fell in love with the new sport of surfing. But the local surfers made it known, loud and clear, "Locals Only!" Plus, “Girls could not surf… here!” Do you really think this is going to stop the determined Geraldine? See would beat them at their own game!
