Publisher Description
An original novel based on the explosive TV series Star Trek: Discovery!
Despite being an inexperienced Starfleet cadet, Sylvia Tilly became essential to the USS Discovery finding its way back home from the Mirror Universe. But how did she find that courage? From where did she get that steel? Who nurtured that spark of brilliance? The Way to the Stars recounts for fans everywhere the untold story of Tilly’s past.
It’s not easy being sixteen, especially when everyone expects great things from Tilly. It’s even harder when her mother and father are Federation luminaries, not to mention pressing her to attend one of the best schools that the Federation has to offer. Tilly wants to achieve great things—even though she hasn’t quite worked out how to do that or what it is she wants to do. But this year, everything will change for Tilly, as she about to embark upon the adventure of a lifetime—an adventure that will take her ever closer to the stars…

Great Story with Bad Chapter Cuts
The voice actress does amazing with the different voices and accents. This was another fun and interesting story that was unfortunately partially ruined by bad chapter cuts. Don't think anyone QA/QC'd it, the clipping mid sentence gets annoying after a while. The -1 star is due to the bad chapter cuts.
Sylvia Tilly
There is nothing else like reading (or having some else read it to you) a good book. It has been a long time since I have had the privilege of reading a book so good that you do not want it to end. It gives the characters you like a three dimensional feel. Just like people you know in real life. They have fears, likes, good days and bad ones. They have over bearing mothers and loving patient fathers.
I have read many Star Trek books. However, this one is so good that I did not want to put it down.
We know have a deep understanding of Sylvia Tilly’s life and how she became a Starfleet officer.
Loving Tilly
