Good, but not as hard hitting as the previous book
It’s a little difficult to rate this one. The book overall is good, but it’s got several areas where it’s just less interesting. Once everything starts getting going it’s much better and entertaining but it takes a bit to get there.
I’ll be generous and give this 4 instead of 3 stars. However, I really feel it’s more of a 3.5.
Wow
The story really comes together in the third book. I can’t wait to see what next to come.
Slow
This book does a few things that bother me and give it 3 Stars.
1. It changes the pronunciation of Roe’s name after two books of Marshion (marsh-she-e-on) we now get (March-e-on) which bothers me and in my head self correct.
2. The book wants to drag out what is going to happen for about 15+ chapters when this could have been about 10 chapters of non stop action.
3. We don’t get any build up for some of the loved characters like Elzar Mann or others. We get some new characters that need more time to simmer and develop.
