APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Neil Gaiman’s Stardust was originally an illustrated book before he refashioned it into a fairy tale for grown-ups. In a quiet town located on the border of a fairy realm, a falling star turns out to be a young lady; her destiny becomes intertwined with a questing young man, the girl he loves, and a vengeful witch-queen. Gaiman’s reading of his novel evokes vivid pictures thanks to his just-right combination of dramatic flair and wide-eyed wonder. A chatty bonus interview with Gaiman after the story sweetens the deal even further.

Fantastic!
I loved this book when I read it years ago. I loved even more hearing it from Neil’s voice. The interview at the end when Neil explains how this is how the book sounds in his head completely resonated with me and is why I always want to hear an audio book narrated by the author, especially someone who is as good at it as Neil is.
