Starting Over is a story about a single mom who has devoted her whole life to her daughter and has put her life on hold in the process. It takes her 12 year old daughter, Josie, to point it out to her for her to realize that's exactly what she has been doing. In this story you read about Vanessa's struggle to balance being a mom first while trying to start a social life of her own. Just as Vanessa decides to let herself start dating again, Josies long lost father decides he wants to be in his daughters life, which provides to be too much for Vanessa to handle along with dating Cameron, Josies science teacher. Although it was a bit painful to see how much she struggles, once again it's her daughter that teaches her not to give up.
This is a very sweet story and it was very easy to fall in love with Cameron, the very sexy Science nerd.
I'm totally in love with Cameron!
This is my first Barbie Bohrman book and I really enjoyed it! I totally enjoyed the hero & the heroine. I felt they were totally believable! The chemistry was great. I really fell in love with Cameron! I understood Vanessa's situation, though not dating or being someone for 13 years is completely foreign to me. Great story and I look forward to reading more from this author!
