THE INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
"One part Golden Girls, one part Schitt's Creek, and a whole lot of Eli McCann’s signature wit and charm."
—CAL CROSBY, The King’s English Bookshop
A hilarious, heartwarming story about competitive quilting, unlikely friendships, and found family.
Betty Lou Dearden has been a member of the Ogden Quilters Association for more than twenty years when it is announced that the biggest quilting competition in the country is coming to Utah. With the clock ticking and a chance to finally beat their long-time rival quilting circle, the women welcome two young gay men to their group as they bicker their way to an award-worthy entry. With disarming humor and extraordinary heart, Eli McCann takes readers deep into the cozy but cutthroat world of competitive quilting and the sometimes-messy friendships that shape our lives.

Gossip and quilting competition will keep you in “stitches”!
Very enjoyable! I follow Eli on Instagram and adore his humor. That comes through in this funny, sad, and tongue in cheek book about the highly competitive world of quilting!
I LOVED THIS BOOK!
Hearing the author read these words-so touching and funny and moving. His words brought all of the faces to my mind of the ladies I’ve known after serving as a pastor’s wife for so many years. Heartwarming and hilarious. Thank you for this book!
