it was exactly what you would expect from the title. a 20-something woman runs away from her arranged marriage and gets kidnapped by a 40-something ‘mafia boss’ and they do interesting things throughout the book. it was actually quite sweet at times. however, it was the petite dainty woman and big buff guy trope, which is sickening and tiring.
