Publisher Description
"Armstong is up there with the big girls of the genre like Laurell K. Hamilton..."--Kansas City Star
It was in Bitten, Kelley Armstrong's debut novel, that thirty-year-old Elena Michaels came to terms with her feral appetites and claimed the proud identity of a beautiful, successful woman--and the only living female werewolf. In Stolen, on a mission for her own elite pack, she is lured into the net of ruthless Internet billionaire Tyrone Winsloe, who has funded a bogus scientific investigation of the "other races" and their supernatural powers. Kidnapped and studied in his underground lab deep in the Maine woods, these paranormals--witches, vampires, shamans, werewolves--are then released and hunted to the death in a real-world video game. But when Winsloe captures Elena, he finally meets his match.

Loved the book, hated the narrator
The book was great but the narrator was a poor choice.
Great Story...Bad Narrator
Quickly becoming a huge fan of Armstrong, and already a fan of the "Women of the Otherworld" series. With all of this, I am terribly disappointed in the choice of the narrator for this book. A thirty year old character who sounds like a great-grandmother...bad enough it wasn't the same narrator from "Bitten", but terribly worse that she has such a terrible voice. My opinion...read this particular book. My fault though...I should have previewed the audio before I wasted my money!
Story..LOVE IT!....Narrator...really bad
I love Kelley Armstrongs books! I especially like this one....but you would be better off reading it then listening to it. The narrator is really bad, like finger nails on the chalk board bad. I am thankful I had already read the book or I never would have been able to follow along with this narrator. I ended up not listening to the whole book. I did see that another narrator did the next book since I am such a fan of the author I will give the next one a shot. I will NOT listen to any books that has this same narrator in the future. I would give 5 stars for the story, but 1 star for the narrator.
