Inspiring
I saw Rob Lowe on Oprah today talking about this book and I had to buy it without hesitation when I found out he narrates this audio book. It gives insight into his past personal life and career as well as his path to the present. It is inspiring to see how he overcame a controversy that DID temporarily end his career and which led him to a choice to reevaluate his course of life and choose sobriety. To hear he has been sober for over 20-years, what an accomplishment, and to see he has a beautiful family (wife and two sons). And to be age 47, he aged VERY well! His lifestyle has made me look at myself and think about altering a few life choices. Congratulations on your successful career, you are a talented actor and I think you put out a very positive aura that touches people however they experience you. Keep up the great work Rob! BUY THIS BOOK!!
Just 12 minutes into it...
perhaps writing this just 12 minutes into this audio book is presumptuous but I'm a HUGE West Wing fan. Great listen so far
New Rob Lowe Fan
I never followed Rob Lowe's career much but after seeing him on Oprah I had to get his book. I listen to audiobooks on my long commute each day to work so last week I could not wait to get in the car each day knowing I had the company of Rob and his amazing stories. He's not only a great author he's a really great narrator he's so good that this week when I went to my next audiobook I was so disappointed in the narrator that I had to listen to Rob's book again.
