“The plot twists ingeniously...an engaging, often chilling book.” - The New York Times Book Review
A writer in California. A doctor in Boston. A motel owner and his employee in Nevada. A priest in Chicago. A robber in New York. A little girl in Las Vegas. They’re a handful of people from across the country, living through eerie variations of the same nightmare.
A dark memory is calling out to them. And soon they will be drawn together, deep in the heart of a sprawling desert, where the terrifying truth awaits...

When I was about a quarter of the way through
I did not know if I could continue listening to Dick Hills reading....I actually listened to a short story at that point and came back to Strangers after that.....I am glad I did because I enjoyed the book but definitely will not purchase another book read by Dick Hill....it does not make for a good listening experience when the emphasis is on practically every word that is read....story is good, not Koontz' best but worth the listen or read!
OMG!
His baritone voice was almost news reporter like. I should have listened to reviews first. Don't think I'll listen to 29 hours of his reading. It would be too too painful.
