Street of the Five Moons

That naught Vicky Bliss is costing me a lot of dough. These are expensive books, but so delicious! I might have to go on a crime spree of my own so I can download all of them. It's humor, it's mystery, it's travelogue. The thing about Vicky is that she loves beautiful things, and she describes them quite well. I've already talked about BORROWER OF THE NIGHT, which was the first Vicky Bliss mystery. Lots of wonderful drollery, some nifty adventure, and some rather chilling danger for the heroine and her new friend, who is a charming crook with his own dry English wit. I confess that I miss Tony, Vicky's co-worker and suitor from the first book. Same narrator, Barbara Rosenblatt, who should have her own fan club. She really brings it to life without hamming it up.
