Publisher Description

The Remingtons are a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger series. This contemporary romance series features alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're flawed, funny, passionate, and relatable to readers who enjoy contemporary romance and women's fiction. While each book may be read as a standalone, you might enjoy reading the entire Love in Bloom big-family romance collection.

In STROKE OF LOVE...

Kate Parello runs a volunteer program in Belize for Artists for International Aid, where she deals with self-centered artists who use the program as a means to repair their marred reputations. She loves the country, the people, and what AIA stands for, but too many diva volunteers have turned her off to press-seeking celebrities altogether and left her questioning the value of the volunteer program. When she meets incredibly handsome and charming Sage, he stirs emotions she hasn’t felt for ages, even though he represents the things she despises.

Laid-back artist Sage Remington escapes his wealthy lifestyle in the Big Apple for a two-week journey of self-discovery to figure out how a guy who has so much can feel so empty. When he meets ultra-organized Kate, who lives her life the way he's always dreamed of living his, the attraction is too hot to ignore, but Sage is there to figure out what’s missing in his life, not to find a woman.

Every look, and every late-night chat in the romantic jungle brings them closer together, but Sage can barely think past stripping away Kate’s misconceptions about him. Kate fights him every step of the way—even though she finds it hard to ignore the strikingly handsome, generous-to-a-fault artist who wants to do nothing more than right the wrongs of the world—and love her to the ends of the earth.

Kate and Sage steamy!!

I absolutely love the Love in Bloom Series by Melissa Foster. Sage and Kate’s love story is told in Stroke of Love, The Remingtons. Sage Remington is a famous artist searching for more meaning in his life. He volunteers with a humanitarian group and finds love in the jungles of Belize. Kate Paleto is the group’s leader and advocate for the local village. Kate and Sage fall fast and hard. Will these two be able to find a solution? Melissa’s writing is so full of passion, heart, love, and all the rest of the feels you can come up with. My favorite part is that even though family members may be disappointed with one another they will always support each other in times of need, no matter what. BJ Harrison is the narrator for the audiobook. BJ has a smooth voice that is easy to listen to. Whether you read or listen to Sage and Kate’s story, stroke of Love, I truly believe you will enjoy it.

Love Kate and Sage!!

This book started off with us going to Belize with other artists/actors/singers with the Artists for International Aid. Of course the others are here to make themselves look better since they’ve had bad press back in the states other than Sage Remington, he is truly here to help the area. I liked meeting all the personalities both with AIA and those we meet in Belize and of course we have Kate who is on the ground in Belize and is our point person and Luce who is the publicist for a couple of the artists on the trip. I really liked getting to know more about Kate and her and Sage interacting with flirtiness even though that’s the last thing that Kate needs. Kate and Sage are definitely a lot alike with their wanting to make the world a better place. I liked Sage and his interaction with the kids at the school and the project that they’re working on. Kate and Sage have definitely become friends and are starting a relationship, but Sage has to go back to New York and Kate is getting ready to go on to another assignment. It was nice to see the two keeping in contact once Sage was back home and he decided to start a non-profit and wanted to bring Kate along for the journey, but could that work. The ending of the story with Kate surprising Sage and him sharing his space with her, great way for this story to end. I listened to this story as an audiobook narrated by B.J. Harrison. He did a great job with the narration of Sage and the celebrities and of course with the characters in Belize and their accent or language from Sylvia to Javier with Mr. Sage and of course Kate and Luce. I always appreciate when you listen to an audiobook and the narrator speaks in the accent or language that is part of the story, in this case Belize. He did a wonderful job of narration once again with this story.

Kate & Sage

Melissa Foster knows how to write a heartwarming story! I love her Love in Bloom stories and this one is no exception. This one features Kate and Sage. Sage is an artist, captivated by the beautiful Kate. Working to help the less fortunate is her goal, and as unhappy as she is with her current position, it helps reach her goals. Sage is enamored with her. Not only beautiful on the outside, but such a good soul has him wanting more. But will he win her heart? So sweet, little angst and a wonderful, relevant back story as these two help others. I loved it!

BJ Harrison continues his wonderful narration of this series. He knows his characters so well and brings out all the qualities to make them believable. I enjoy all of his voices and the way he tells the story. Another enjoyable listen by Melissa Foster!
