From the Bestselling Author of the hit Netflix series, Virgin River!

Sometimes the happiness we’re looking for has been there all along…

Adele and Justine have never been close. Born twenty years apart, Justine was already an adult when Addie was born. The sisters love each other but they don’t really know each other.

When Addie dropped out of university to care for their ailing parents, Justine, a successful lawyer, covered the expenses. It was the best arrangement at the time but now that their parents are gone, the future has changed dramatically for both women.

Addie had great plans for her life but has been worn down by the pressures of being a caregiver and doesn’t know how to live for herself. And Justine’s success has come at a price. Her marriage is falling apart despite her best efforts.

Neither woman knows how to start life over but both realize they can and must support each other the way only sisters can. Together they find the strength to accept their failures and overcome their challenges. Happiness is within reach, if only they have the courage to fight for it.

Set in the stunning coastal town of Half Moon Bay, California, Robyn Carr’s Sunrise on Half Moon Bay examines the joys of sisterhood and the importance of embracing change.

Don't miss Robyn Carr's next uplifting novel, The Friendship Club, where four women come together at a tumultuous time in their lives, forging an unbreakable bond that will leave them all forever changed—available January 2024!

Emy us my nick name ,

Not my town

I lived in HMB for years and was disappointed in references to the town. You would go th Santa Cruze for the day, not Monterey that would be an over nighter, there’s to much traffic. You would go to SF for collage, it’s with in a few miles of HMB, and an excellent school, Burk is to far away for a day school. It is not said San Jose it is said Sanhoza. Texas accents and south central US is not how we talk in the Bay Area, we speak book reading English, Our colloquialisms needed more use. This book seams to have been written about anywhere with a map by your side If the person was there they shire lost out on a lot of things the locals do like going to the boat harbor, watching the surfers at Maverick, you can only see a tails of the whales from the bay you have to go outside to see them well. the farms even when they don’t have pumpkin’s .these are locals inexpensive dates or casual ones. That guys store would run the length of the bay th eaten the variety is stuff, all those hobby’s are done at different locations. The story was average good, nothing grate about anything. Blah
