A sexy slow burn that brings the heat

It’s wonderfully delicious
Mason, the sexy yoga instructor, wants to take things slow, getting to know Brooke, but a quick fling is all she’s looking for. How does he convince her that slow and sweet is worth it?
Wow. This is some of the sexiest teasing I’ve ever read. Whooowee! I really like J. Daniels writing. It’s smart, clever and funny.
Brooke enjoys sex and I like the idea of the role reversals: A woman who loves sex and isn’t afraid to have it often. It was refreshing. And Mason is reserved in that area…wants to take things slow and get to know her.
For me, Brook was a hard nut to crack. She just wants to have fun but there seemed to be something driving her in that direction. Although the author never talked about Brookes reasons for no commitment, the manner in which Brooke is portrayed, having sex with strangers several times a week without commitments and not remembering their names, infers there’s a deeper issue there. I was expecting a back story of why she never wanted anything lasting or beyond 1 or 2 encounters with the same person. If her character was developed more with her back ground to give us why she’s so afraid of commitment she’d be more likable to me
I also wanted a bit more character development with Brooke. I didn’t get any real background about her situation or family just that she’s working in the bakery and loves sex
This book was narrated by Holly Chandler and J. F. Harding. Both portrayed these characters wonderfully. Holly brought the spunk to Brooke’s personality ad Harding’s Australian accent and tone really brought the sexy I was swooning. I actually rewound a few times just to hear him speak some sexy passages on repeat.
