I loved this book. I loved the world. I loved the characters. I loved friends to lovers with the magical twist. I love how much Halla asks questions when she’s nervous or uncomfortable. I love how Sarkis loves her from the beginning. This was such a joy to listen to. The narration was perfect. This will definitely be a go to feel good book. I already want to listen to it again.
I am absolutely ready for the next book in the series, Daggerbound, next August (2026).
