Publisher Description
Don't miss the highly anticipated final installment of the steamy romantasy series everyone on BookTok is talking about!
After Lor makes the biggest mistake of her life, she finds herself on the run from the Aurora King and decides it's time to end this, once and for all. When a new enemy emerges to claim her freedom, the entire fate of Ouranos comes to rest on her shoulders.
As the land continues to rebel, Lor must admit she is the key to saving the continent, whether she likes it or not. To fight for Nadir, she must lie, steal, and do whatever it takes to hunt down the remaining arks. Growing more and more desperate, she worries her actions are turning her into something she doesn't recognize, dooming her to repeat her grandmother's mistakes.
When the Aurora King finally comes for her, Lor ventures into the Underworld's shadowy depths, where, once again, she finds herself at the heart of another deadly test. Only this time, she's competing for everyone's future, not just a crown.
The only thing Lor ever wanted was to be free, but she may soon find she was always destined for a cage.

The book description is misleading
My problem is not with the book but instead with the books description. It reminds me of one of those misleading movie trailers. It gave the impression that Lor would be trapped alone in the underworld for the majority of the book. This is not the case. While her and Nadir are separated briefly the majority of the book they are together. It is not until chapter 60 with just under 4 hours remaining in the book that Lor arrives in the underworld. I think they should consider writing a new description. As it stands it makes it seems like this story will essentially be a repeat of book one just in a new location. This simply is not the case and I could see people being turned off from reading it for fear this book is just a reimagining of an earlier story with an added 5-6 hours to the retelling of it. Basically the book description does them no favors. It’s misleading and actually makes the book seem like it will be a rehashing. While there are a few similarities the time spent in the underworld is minuscule. It is absolutely its own story. It’s well written. The pacing is good and we get a happy ending. If you are on the fence because of the book description just know it’s a bit misleading.
