Millie & Zach’s one night stand was more than either expected. It was intense, enlightening, & oh so very hot. When Millie returned to work to plan & execute her most recent exes wedding, she is dealt a bit of a shock when she meets his biological dad.

I loved the way that Millie & Zach had such a connection that they couldn’t stay away from each other, even though they knew they needed to. Their connection wasn’t just physical, they connected on an intellectual level too. They both found the other so easy to talk to & found a comfort in just being together…it was natural.

Despite the 15 year age gap, these two found love in the most unconventional way. Im so glad that they were able to find their HEA. It may have been after a little bit of setbacks, but they were able to show the rest of their families how happy they were.

Audiobook Review:
Sebastian York & Lucy Rivers knocked this one out of the park. Sebastian flat out embodies the mature voice of Zach & just makes you want to own being a good girl. Lucy did a phenomenal job as Millie. She’s one of those voices that draws you in & completely becomes the character.

When you pick up a Melanie Harlow book you know you are going to get a good story. Right from the start the story hooks you in. Zach and Millie meet one night at a bar. He comes to her rescue and they spend a night together. Going their separate ways, but each still wanting more. Fast forward to the wedding party where they meet each other again shocked. I love how each one of her books have just enough spice with a story. I devoured this book.

Melanie Harlow pens another fabulous novel, one grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. I am not sure how this was my first visit to Cloverleigh Farms, I only know I loved the small town charm and that it is a place I am looking forward to visiting again, the characters are amazing, the type of people you want to be friends with and get to know. Millie MacAllister, an event and wedding planner, was in NY on a business trip and was stuck there another night because of her cancelled flight and the passing storm. After a call with her sister, Winnie, who convinced her to get out and enjoy herself, she heads to the hotel bar for a drink. She eyes a handsome guy across the bar, but as luck has it, the guy next to her creeps her out and she gets ready to leave, but not before that handsome stranger comes to her rescue. Zachary “Zach”Barrett, former Navy Seal, currently working security, just finished a job in NY when he stopped in the bar for a drink and when he saw her she was everything the admired in a woman. The two hit is off and spend a memorable and very steamy night together before heading back home, he to San Diego and she back to her home in Michigan. He gave her his business card, and she could not get him out if her mind and contemplated calling him. Zach thought of Millie as well, but he has other things going on in his life, like the possibility of having a grown son, Mason Holt. The same Mason Holt who Millie dated and was currently planning his wedding at Cloverleigh Farms. When Zach goes to meet his son and his future wife, he sees Millie again, but not wanting to complicate things, he wanted to keep their affair to themselves. Problem is Millie and Zach can not keep their hands off of each other and the time they spend together is their last time, which turns in to several last times since neither can resist the other. I loved the layers and complexity of this wonderfully plotted story, it has the perfect balance of drama, charm, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. I loved watching Millie follow thru with her dreams of opening her own business, and how it won’t be a cookie cutter shop like most. Melanie Harlow, thank you for this amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, the wonderfully talented Lucy Rivers and Sebastian York were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. I loved how they take each role and make it their own and how believable they are in every role they play. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.
