We always expect James Patterson to deliver a fast-paced thriller, but this joint effort with Andrew Bourelle also offers a stout-hearted lawman hero, an atmospheric Southwest setting, and a classic showdown between good and evil. With his laconic, gritty delivery and authentic-sounding accent, stage actor Christopher Ryan Grant brings considerable western flavor to Patterson and Bourelle’s Texas Ranger hero, Rory Yates. It’s a difficult review
The story is good enough I guess, it’s hard to tell if the characters are properly built or just destroyed by the poor characterizations of the reader. I’ve had a hard time finishing this one, it’s just too hard to listen to.
Awesome Novel!
I love this book!!! The imagery of the novel is amazing!!! I love that last line too! “..I rode into the sunset like a gunfighter in an old western and don’t look back, because cowboys never do.” I can’t wait to read/hear the sequel!
