In The 50th Law, hip hop and pop culture icon 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) joins forces with Robert Greene, bestselling author of The 48 Laws of Power, to write a “bible” for success in life and work based on a single principle: fear nothing. With stories from 50 Cent's life on the streets and in the boardroom as he rose to fame after the release of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, as well as examples of others who have overcome adversity through understanding and practicing the 50th Law, this deeply inspirational book is perfect for entrepreneurs as well as anyone interested in the extraordinary life of Curtis Jackson.
If you are a seeker of wisdom, you will find it in anything.
This is a good book from another angle and perspective but, still an interesting read. As a fan of Robert Greene's other books this is just another way to gain insight from someone who has risen from a negative environment to a worldwide success. We may not agree with the methods but, to some this will be the only way to change their life and help them to take that first positive step towards change. Just as Scareface, Boyz in the Hood and the Hip Hop lifestyle has been a staple in the streets, this should be a stepping stone to the world of Robert's other powerful books so that those that choose may choose to be wiser than their environment. The urban jungle is still a jungle and those that want to do more than survive will find that the "50th Law" will assist them in their endeavors.
Savage Skulls - Bronx Chapter
Really cool book to read/listen. Lots of good points.
I detested 50 Cent for his confrontational attitude and need for drama. I listened to this book by request of a friend. I now look at %0 in a different light. I have a new found respect for his philosophy and sheer genius in shaping his own career and destiny.
