Great Book
Adam Baldwin does a fantastic job performing a very funny story.
Fun, Exciting, and Entertaining for Everyone (even if they're not into syfy)
This is one of my all-time favorite audiobooks!!! It's hilarious, engaging, and the only way to make insurance exciting. Adam Baldwin does a fantastic job narrating this audiobook. He brings energy to every part of the book and brings every character to life. I cannot recommend this audiobook enough!
Escapist Fiction with a Phenomenal Premise and the Execution of a Pulp Serial
Initially excited by the premise of an interdimensional insurance agent going on adventures, I was let down by a flimsy pulp magazine short story. What began as an over the top, wildly unpredictable quest story quickly became stale. The characters were one dimensional, lacking drive and substance. The interdimensional aspect of the story served as little more than a crutch for poor writing, conveniently solving problems or pushing pieces around the board. Still, I enjoyed Adam’s Baldwin’s performance and the story is fun in an escapist fiction way. While I don’t regret listening to The Adventures of Tom Stranger, I can’t strongly recommend it either.
