Publisher Description

After stopping a serial killer and shutting down an interstate human trafficking ring, Sloan Jordan is ready for a break. But back at home in Asheville, her problems have only just begun.

The supernatural world has taken an interest in her, and strange things are happening. Her powers are multiplying, she's plagued by vivid nightmares, and a deranged young woman, babbling an unknown language, has been detained by police. The only clue to her identity - Sloan's name carved into her arm.

If that wasn't enough, the FBI has launched a full-scale investigation into her private life, believing Sloan might not be as innocent as she claims.

With her boyfriend, Warren Parish, deployed with the Marine Corps, Sloan is left in the protection of Detective Nathan McNamara. And their complicated friendship is about to be tested. Sloan has a secret...one that could turn even Nathan against her forever.

Boundless Book Reviews ,

My favorite so far

This has been my favorite book in the series so far. The sexual tension between Sloan and Nathan could be cut with a knife. As much as I like Warran I am really starting to root for the underdog in this one and am leaning for team Nathan if she can’t have them both, LOL. Why is this not an option? Oh yeah, because we still fade to black! I’m still not happy about that.

In The Angel of Death, Sloan is faced with so many obstacles that seem insurmountable. Yet she has her men that get her through it. Because as much as I like her and as resilient as she is, she is really a damsel in distress most of the time. Which I usually would find beyond annoying. I really do hope the crying stops, I’ve hit my allotted limit of crying time in a lead character. Hopefully, she continues to grow and come into her own with less bawling.

I loved The Angel of Death, and I can’t wait for the next one. I am rating it 5 Boundless stars, it was non stop, and I didn’t want to put it down
