An excellent addition to the original Sherlock Holmes books.
I found this title and author by accident. I wasn’t looking for a particular title or genre, but was sifting through the audiobook listings and the title caught me as mysterious. I knew it wasn’t a tale of beekeeping, and as I read the description I knew why o was drawn to the title. It was an extension of Sherlock Holmes’ adventures, picked up by another artist. Thanks to this discovery, I am now hooked on Laurie’s “Russell and Holmes” stories, extending the already well know works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. As I complete one book, I will promptly be purchasing the others in this series. As a lifelong mystery fan, I am thoroughly enjoying the tale put together by Laurie R. King and may have found my new favorite author. The narrator of this series has become, in a way, companion on the road... Keeping me listening for more while I’m out driving.
