An excellent engaging culinary murder mystery
This was a great book. The reader was excellent as well. I love the way in which Faith Martin builds her characters and yet keeps them distinct and individual. The fact that Miss Starling is an “unusual looking” young woman, added a pleasant change as a “heroine,“ and I found her character engaging and likable as portrayed in this book. The fact that Miss Starling is an exceptional chef, is another interesting aspect of her character and the descriptions of food prep are also interesting to a fellow chef. I found this book to be fairly well written and the plot was engaging. There aren’t very many foul words in this book, either. I will definitely read this entire series.
