The Canterville Ghost is a humorous ghost story by Oscar Wilde. Canterville Chase had all the bits and pieces of a customary haunted house. Sketches of the wainscoting, the library panelled in black oak, and the armour in the hallway portray the setting as we are presented with the ghost itself.
