Awesome Read

I rated this five stars. Erica Ridey is writer who's writing I think is exceptional I really love reading and learning her charaters because they are adventuress and strong heroine and a hunky, sexy hero. The sex scenes are hot with a Capitol H. I a big of way her books seem to flow.
The Captain's Bluestocking Mistress ( Dukes of War) book:2, the characters in this book is very expressive and heartwarming and the dialog that interacts well with each characters and flows with a good pace to the end.

Jane Dowling is a 24 year old spinster whose life friends are her books and her brother. Jane feels invisible and forgettable to everyone, even with her friends Lady Grace and her new husband. Jane doesn't like to go to balls, musical or the theater. She hates the fact that she is envious of friend Lady Grace now she is married. Jane has always had a crush on Captain Xavier Grey but even he doesn't notice her, but she intends to change this she is making plans.

Captain Xavier Grey returned from the war believing he was a horrible man and there could be no change for him because of the things he did for the war has made him evil. There is no forgiving hisself for what he did to other men in the war. First he allow his friend to take him around town but he could not respond to anyone.

At last Captain grey is alone, or so he thinks. On a cold look like snow any time day, Jane set out for the country but half way there it started to snow and Jane is hoping she make it to her destination. Finally she is here and knocks on the door. Mean while the Captain is chopping wood until there are no more wood to chopped. As he is having his drink in front of the fire there's a knock on the door, he thinks who could that be? A lost traveler. He opens the door to find Lady Jane at first he thinks her carriage is broken down the road.

I don't want to give away the story, but when you start to read this fantastic book you'll have a good laugh! THIS IS A MUST READ!!
