Regardless of how Marx envisioned the way socialism would be practiced, the fact remains that almost everywhere it has been attempted, it has resulted in the rise of ruthless authoritarian dictatorships.
To be clear, Marx was a hack with the mind of a child, who knew less than nothing about human nature and even less about even the most fundamental economic principles. It’s not that he *wanted* all the death and destruction his ideas caused, it’s just that, like a child playing with fire, he was too ignorant of the world around him to realize how his ideas would be used as a tool by the ruling classes of so many countries to secure ever more power, to the detriment of the people.
