Although the story of "Benjamin Button" is quite different than the 2009 movie, the premise is the same - a man is born old and lives his life backwards! Fizgerald says he got the idea from Mark Twain's remark that it was a pity that the best part of life came at the beginning and the worst part at the end.

Different than movie
This book is so much more depressing than the movie portrayed, since there is no romance like the Hollywood glamour... i like the book, but the narrator is absolutely liveless, flat, mono-toned, and mood killing...
Well Done!
Really nice recording, youthful sounding narrator does some nice voices and keeps the story intresting. Really a good deal at only 95 cents!
Good story
Good story. What an imagination Fitzgerald had! Loved the narrator's voices - especially the "cracking voice"
teenager. People driving next to me must have thought I was crazy because I started laughing out loud when I heard it.
