While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.
Even more startling, the late curator was involved in the Priory of Sion, a secret society whose members included Sir Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, and Da Vinci, and he guarded a breathtaking historical secret. Unless Langdon and Neveu can decipher the labyrinthine puzzle—while avoiding the faceless adversary who shadows their every move—the explosive, ancient truth will be lost forever.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
When a museum curator is found dead, Harvard professor Robert Langdon teams up with the victim’s daughter, cryptologist Sophie Neveu, to unravel a series of clues hidden in iconic works of art. What they uncover could rewrite the entire history of Western civilization—and it puts them in the crosshairs of some extremely powerful enemies. It’s easy to see why Dan Brown’s globe-trotting caper became one of the best-selling novels of all time. The twist-filled plot races along on a pulse-pounding journey across Europe and through centuries of secret history, while Langdon and Sophie ground the action with heart and intelligence. Narrator Paul Michael maintains a brisk pace and delivers a polished performance, nimbly shifting between characters and accents. This head-spinning, high-stakes thriller still holds up.

Loved it
One of my favorite books of all time
Whoa! Historical Mystery bonanza!
I actually decided to listen to the book after seeing the movie many times. I love the movie and I was half expecting the book to just be a slightly expanded version, oh boy I was wrong! The book has so much more detail and information that makes the actions of the story make more sense. Also I LOVE the narrator, he does such a good job at doing all the accents and characters.
This audiobook had inspired me to find more, both in story and narrator!
Great performance!
The only thing I find wrong in this audiobook is Chapter 77. When reading the actual book in text form the word in this chapter is spelled “B-P-V-M-Th” but the reader in this audiobook said “B-V-P-M-Th”.
Thank you, have a nice day.
