Now a major motion picture starring Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba
Creating "true narrative magic" (The Washington Post) at every revelatory turn, Stephen King surpasses all expectation in the stunning final volume of his seven-part epic masterwork. Entwining stories and worlds from a vast and complex canvas, here is the conclusion readers have long awaited—breathtakingly imaginative, boldly visionary, and wholly entertaining.
Roland Deschain and his ka-tet have journeyed together and apart, scattered far and wide across multilayered worlds of wheres and whens. The destinies of Roland, Susannah, Jake, Father Callahan, Oy, and Eddie are bound in the Dark Tower itself, which now pulls them ever closer to their own endings and beginnings...and into a maelstrom of emotion, violence, and discovery.

A Fitting Conclusion
1. In the end, this was a fitting conclusion to King's grand Dark Tower series. I was thrilled when some of the questions regarding Roland, his Ka-tet, and the worlds were answered, but I am still frustrated by the questions I wished Stephen King had answered in his conclusion to this series. If you have gotten through the first 2 books of the series, then congratulations you are hooked and you will undoubtedly enjoy the final books and especially this final installment.
2. I didn't notice any bad sound quality issues that other reviewers had mentioned in the latter audiobooks.
3. To be honest, I enjoyed it but I'm sad that the journey is over. Thank you to King, Roland, Eddie, Susannah, and Jake. I am now ready to start this adventure over again to see what I may have missed years ago when I read (not listened) to the first four books of this series.
A fantastic ending to an even more fantastic story
OK, OK...I won't mention again that these books were also out of order. Maybe it's my iPod or pc or something, but after figuring out the order these downloaded in, it was like being in a dream listening all the way to the end. It didn't even seem like the end. Not everyone can have that happy, ever-after ending. It was good that Stephen King ended the story for all the charachters. I would read/listen to all this again, it was ALL that good!!! 5 stars, AAA+++, however you want to rate it, The Dark Tower series is worth the time and money.
The bitrate on this recording is so low (32kbps), it is a pain to listen to. It sounds mechanical and harsh. I DO NOT recommend this recording of The Dark Tower from the iTunes Music Store.
An amazing book, I just wished I had known what the bitrate was before purchasing.
