Publisher Description

A breathtaking exposé that reads like a thriller, The Day After Roswell is a stunning depiction of just what happened in Roswell, New Mexico all those years ago and how the effects of this mysterious unidentified aircraft crash are still relevant today.

Former member of President Eisenhower’s National Security Council and the Foreign Technology Desk in the United States Army, Colonel Philip J. Corso was assigned to work at a strange crash site in Roswell in 1947. He had no idea that his work there would change his life and the course of history forever. Only in his fascinating memoir can you discover how he helped removed alien artifacts from the site and used them to help improve much of the technology the Army uses today, such as circuit chips, fiber optics, and more.

Laying bare the United States government’s shocking role in the Roswell incident—what was found, the cover-up, and more—The Day After Roswell is an extraordinary memoir that not only forces us to reconsider the past, but also our role in the universe.

Answers the question are we alone?

Long account of using technology from the UFO crashed in Roswell. The first section was about the crash. I for one believe it.

A Great Roswell Story

This is a good book because of the topics it covered and the plausibility of scenarios. Bill Birnes did a good job of narrating, and it was clear he was excited about what he saying in the roles of several of the characters. I enjoyed this book and hope you do too.

Worst narrator EVER!

I listened to about 45 min of this book on drive home, and I had anxiety the entire time and felt sick all due to to narrator. He is by far the worst narrator I’ve ever heard. In between the bouts of anxiety I had while listening to him talk, I questioned what could he possibly be thinking reading like this. Obviously he’s trying to be enthusiastic but that’s not the word to describe it. Is he on drugs? Is it some kind of joke? I doubt it, so I assume he was probably told to read enthusiastically and therefore chose to read as if he was trying to elicit a heart attack or force the listener to do what I’m doing, which is rage quit this book 45 min in. I highly doubt others getting as far as I did. So here’s the thing, he reads a sentence and finds strange words to emphasize strongly VERY strongly then speeds through the next 3-5 words, lowers voice for two more, then BOOM shouts the most randomest un-needed word with extreme exclamation. Sort of like this: the boy (shouts) WENT (lowers voice) to the store (speeds) forsomegroceriesfordinnerthat (shouts) NIGHT! I’m so upset I spent money on this audiobook which would’ve otherwise been interesting I’m sure if not for this god forsaken reader. DO NOT BUY!
