Cheeky cover, but really worth the buy!
I’d seen this vibrant ~edgy~ cover probably like 6-12 months ago and initially I scoffed. And then I kept seeing it. And seeing it. And seeing it. Eventually, I was so tired of seeing it that I forgot about it. And then today I see it and I honestly love this. Easily one of my favorite dark/twisted/surprisingly self-aware audiobooks. GraphicAudio should really cover this, but keep the same male voice actor! He’s so dynamic. Anyway, this story is slow-ish burn at times, but it’s really funny too. Like, if you have to take everything you read literally or like you can’t suspend your disbelief for an audiobook, this might not be for you. There are mentions of the main heroine’s past traumas, and the dialogue can get a little deep at times, but it’s really mainly a very spicy and endearing-at-times love story and I’m an absolute sap for this stuff. It’s some of the best-written smut I’ve found and I’m so sorry it has taken me this long to read this.
