Publisher Description
An enemies-to-lovers, drunk-married-in-Vegas, accidental pregnancy romance between the grumpiest hedge fund manager and most irresponsible doctor you've ever met.
Keeley: Last January, I drunk-married my nemesis—hot, oversized geek Graham Tate. With no memory of how it came about, there was only one solution: run off before he woke up and pretend it didn't happen. It would have worked perfectly if I hadn't wound up pregnant.
Graham is the opposite of everything I want in a man—practical, disciplined, frugal—but living with him until the baby arrives has me wondering if, perhaps, I've been wanting the wrong things all along. And if that drunk version of me last January might have been onto something.
Graham: I never planned to have kids, and I certainly wouldn't have planned on one with Keeley Connolly—a woman who does not believe in savings accounts or personal safety and thinks Lucky Charms is a health food because of the non-marshmallow bits.
A woman who also didn't think twice about marrying me in Vegas and ditching me hours later.
I can't wait to put this behind me and return to my careful, chaos-free life in New York. But the more time I spend with Keeley, the more I'm remembering the things that led me to marry her in the first place...and wondering if I can live without them when this ends."

Love this banter
Keeley and Graham have this connection towards each other. Major chemistry towards each other. And man their banter back and forth is hilarious. Their one liners towards each other is spot on. Keeley is a hot mess express, even though she is a doctor. She is all over the place. Graham is the complete opposite. What happens when these two go to Vegas in a drunken night? Wake up married. What happens 2 months later… not everything stays sun Vegas. This was a great story. I would definitely recommend this book. I was fortunate enough to get an audio version of this. The narrators of this did an excellent job with the narration.
Thank you Valentine PR for this opportunity to listen to this wonderful book.
Fun story, great narration
There were plenty of amusing moments in this book, in large part because of Keeley, who is a doctor who really seems to have the maturity of a child. In part, this is because of her past- Elizabeth O’Roarke does a great job with giving a back story that works with the heroine’s personality. However, I did find her to be a bit too childish for too long in the book. Graham was wonderful after the initial bickering that is expected from an enemies to lovers romance; throw in the surprise baby and of course there was quite some tension. The story focuses on their growth as a couple but also, Keeley’s growth as a character, as she tries to figure out what she needs to make her happy. This kind of story would work better for me had I liked the character more. That said, there were adorable moments, sweet, swing moments and a gradual fall into love that was well written.
I listened to the audiobook which was narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Wen Ross. I know I have listened to Brentmoor before but I don’t remember her voice being so, well, cutesy and youngish, which honestly, was impressively perfect for Keeley. Very well done matching between the narration and how I had Keeley sounding in my mind but it got to be a kit after a few hours. Wen Ross, as usual, was great with his smooth voice that was also perfect for Graham and both played the other characters well too. Narration was 4.5 stars, story, 3.5 stars.
One of my new favorite books!
This was one of my favorite books of 2022! This enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, fake relationship, accidental pregnancy, slow burn romance was exceptional! I loved everything about this book including the narration! This is my first book by Elizabeth O’Roark and it won’t be my last. I love her writing and the way she has crafted her characters. The narrators were perfect for the characters and I could not have imagined better narrators!
