Despite his successors' battles with the whims of history and their own doubts and egos, Walt's vision maintained momentum, thrived, and taught future generations how to do it Walt Disney's way.
Customer Reviews
Love the detail
I’ve been to Disneyland several times as an adult. I don’t go for the rides anymore, though I’m often goaded onto a few. Instead, I go for the detail. I love the fit and finish of the place and the attention to detail (except in Toon Town which is shoddy and the original California Adventure, which was done on the cheap). That’s why I really liked this book, it gives even more detail to the experience. I now look forward to going again and looking for the references mentioned.
Thorough and attention to detail
Great book. I don’t know any book could possibly compete with the thoroughness and attention to detail like this book. I got used to the narrator, but simple words and last names seemed to be easily mispronounced. Overall I recommend this book to any Disney fanatic.
Who chose the narrator for the audiobook?
The information in this book is great. However the narrator for the audiobook needed to spend time learning how to pronounce the names of the people he’s speaking about. He mispronounces every imagineer’s name the entire time
