Sweet, sassy and sexy
I’ll start with I LOVED this book!
Can’t wait for the Epilogue Miles Ever After coming out 2/14/2023
This book is the perfect opposites attract, friends-to-lovers, alpha hero, billionaire romance.
While we have seen in the previous books, and in this one as well Christopher comes off as an obnoxious, entitled, commitment phoebe, playboy who has never had to work for anything. He comes to the realization that he doesn’t know himself, or his true Identity, as he was always been “A Miles”.
He ends up going on a journey of self discovery by backpacking for 1 year.
In true TL Swan fashion she gives us all the feels in this book and a roller coaster ride of emotions. You will be laughing, crying, and swooning. I have never laughed so hard at Christopher’s antics, and his funny mishaps on his journey to self discovery. This comedic relief for me even-though brut at times, was very much Christopher and one of Tee’s trademarks in this series. As the book progresses he meets Hayden. Hayden is a country girl, who is strong, independent, who knows her worth but she has also been hurt in the past. She is scared to get hurt again and be vulnerable. She’s also on a journey of self discovery. And while there might have been attraction, they become good friends. Still rough around the edges, we start to see Christopher as caring, loving, funny, sexy, and a vulnerable soul. She is the only one besides his family who can see through him. she sees him for whom he truly is even though he can’t see it for himself. She’s so patient with him. Through out the story they challenge each other, make each other better people, they have this push and pull, sassy banter, and she keeps him guessing. At the same token they also have their hurdles to overcome. I like Christopher and Hayden’s ARC in this book. His brothers and of course some of their friends from the other books make an appearance. Which was great cause I need to know all the things. Loved the story line with Eddie as well, and the ending😍😍😍. Of course, I wished it was longer. I will never look at gorillas in the mist, yachts, foot rubs and water parks the same. Can’t wait to see their story continue. Definitely recommend this book, and this series. The Narrators were fantastic!
