Loved it
I thoroughly enjoyed this series! The world building was great. I loved the cast of characters but Clare was my favorite. The pacing was a bit slow for me but I think it’s because I was just so invested in the story I needed to know what would happen. I’m not completely sure what the tethering actually had to do with the whole story but it made for a sweet romance underlying arc. Overall, it was action packed, edge of your seat, worthy of devouring.
Intense
So much happens in this installment. This book literally had me on the edge of my seat wondering who is betraying the group and if they will be safe. I’m still reeling from everything that happens. New characters, and questions are answered but like with everything it comes at a cost. So good!!
The audiobook was good. The narrator did a good job portraying all of the characters. Easy to follow along and easy to tell which character was speaking.
