The dressmakers secret

Story kept me engaged, I enjoy listening while going on a walk and this did the trick. Definitely would be interested in learning more about Coco Channel.

Engaging WW2 story

From the very beginning, I enjoyed this story. Definitely similarities to other historical fictions based during this time, but the connection to CoCo Channel kept it new and fresh. I will say that I wasn’t a complete fan of some of the resolution towards the end but it was a different perspective. Overall, I did enjoy it and recommend it to anyone who enjoys historical fiction set in this setting.

Wonderful book!

A great read. I couldn’t put it down! I really enjoyed the audio version, and I will be adding the book to my list to read again on paper, as well as more from Lorna Cook.
This has introduced to me a new way of exploring history and offered perspectives on WW2 and the Holocaust I had not yet come across. I look forward to more historical fictions after reading The Dressmakers Secret. Highly recommend!
