Not a study tool at all
This is literally a textbook being read poorly. I was hoping it was a discussion-based book where the rules are broken down. If you want a Kaplan or BarBri style discussion helping you understand the FRE, then this is not at all for you. First, the author himself is not reading it. The reader it is not a lawyer or law professor at all, so he will do things such as spell out voir dire thinking that the audience cannot understand it, which may be true for non-law students/lawyers. Secondly, the reader’s style of reading is really hard to follow. I bought this hoping to study for the MBE and for my FRE class, and it did not prove a useful tool. I give it more than 1 star simply because I feel that I did not pay a lot of money for it, so I am not too disappointed.
