Don’t pay attention to all the verbose, pretentious, writers’ workshop worshippers who praised this book. Filled with people no one would want to meet, no one would like, there is no action at all that you care about. Just a rambling recitation of quotidian activities among a dysfunctional family, teasing the reader with a gun that appears in the beginning and has the most ridiculous resolution ever.
