Recommend Without Reservation
Josephine Tey was new to me. Found her in my search for a satisfying Agatha Christie replacement (I've listened to every Christie audio book), and I was not disappointed! Loved this complicated, mysterious, and sometimes humerous story as well as enjoying the fantastic narrator Carole Boyd. Character revelations and development were satisfying. And every so often I just had to stop, rewind, and listen again to a gorgeous, lyrical sentence that captivated my imagination. Highly recommend.
