I needed something short to listen to and so chose this, knowing I couldn’t lose with this excellent author who is also the narrator in this case (delightful!). I think it ended sort of abruptly, and was enjoying it so much, I wish it was longer. The last 20 minutes or so are a preview for another book of hers, sort of an advertisement, I guess. No matter, that was good as well and a freebie on Apple, so I can’t complain!! ☺️
Anticipating!
I didn’t realize it was two short stories that were connected! I’m definitely looking forward to reading both books. I was on the edge of my seat, wanting more!
