Enlightening and Beautifully Written
Beautiful story about a woman seeking personal independence in India in the 1950s and the special challenges arising from the culture and class. The characters were well written, and it was interesting to see how they grew and evolved during this pivotal time. The narrator was perfect for this story.
Gorgeous
This book is so lovely from beginning to end. I usually gravitate towards fast-paced thrillers and fantasy novels, but this book hooked me right away and I loved every second. I love this narrator!
