Enjoyed for start to finish and a tear when it was over
I Tried…
I am truly a fan of Ms. Hilderbrand, and have enjoyed all of her past books. This is the first one that I found to be disappointing. I honestly tried to get to a place that would capture my attention, but was unable to finish it.
Woke trash
Author is trying super hard to use the relevant lingo of today’s youth and it comes off super cheesy. Got to a part that used the term “woke” as some sort of term of endearment followed up by talking about a character who’s trying black male his ex girlfriend using his “white male privilege” and had to stop reading. Tired of this garbage.
