James Patterson and Mike Lupica are the thriller dream team! Jenny Wolf’s murdered father leaves her in charge of a billion-dollar empire—and a family more ruthless than Succession's Roys and Yellowstone’s Duttons.
The Wolfs, the most powerful family in California, have a new head–thirty-six-year-old former high school teacher Jenny Wolf.
That means Jenny now runs the prestigious San Francisco Tribune.
She also controls the legendary pro football team, the Wolves.
And she has a murdered father to avenge—if she can survive the killers all around her.
An unforgettable family drama by two writers at the top of their craft.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Football is a hard-hitting game—and as James Patterson and Mike Lupica’s rip-roaring novel shows, it can be an even wilder business. When high-powered mogul Joe Wolf dies under suspicious circumstances, he leaves his San Francisco football team to his estranged daughter Jenny, shocking everyone. Jenny’s brothers are especially mad, but she won’t give up without a fight—even if her siblings and their cronies are prepared to fight dirty. This enthralling listen is part crime thriller, part family drama, and part sports saga…and it scores big on all three fronts. Narrator Ellen Archer gives a strong, dynamic reading that sharpens the characters and amps up the action. Whether you live for the gridiron or just love appreciate a gutsy heroine, you’ll love The House of Wolves.

A good airplane read
Definitely not succession in a book form. Has over 110 chapters so super easy to stop reading if you need too. Just another murder mystery.
West Coast Succession
The House of Wolves empire includes a NFL SF Football team and a News Paper instead of the Succession empire which includes a Television Station and a News Paper.
The daughter is bequeathed the football team when the father mysteriously dies. Her 3 male siblings are not happy after the reading of the will.
Amazing
I absolutely love this book, I couldn’t stop listening
