In this slow-burning thriller, every family has its secrets, but some are deadlier than others. The Housemaid Is Watching completes Freida McFadden’s murder-soaked Housemaid trilogy, but Millie isn’t a maid anymore. She’s graduated to her own house in the suburbs—and there’s trouble in paradise. Snobby neighbor Suzette’s worryingly chummy with Millie’s husband, Enzo, and Millie’s daughter Ada is having trouble fitting into their new neighborhood. And to bring things full circle, Suzette has a maid Millie just doesn’t trust. This being a Housemaid book, the suspense builds and then turns bloody and the twists come hard and fast. We love McFadden’s knack for prose that raises our heart rate with a minimum of fuss. And the more answers we thought we got, the more questions arose. Narrator Lauryn Allman brings out Millie’s mix of naiveté and steely will in perfect proportion. Tense, twisty, and deeply unsettling, this finale seals the trilogy with ruthless confidence.

Really Great Read!
These books were so freaking addictive. Her stories are never predictable no matter how hard I try to guess the plot. There is twists and turns at every corner. Someone else said they stopped reading after they found out Enzo is cheating... that sucks that people are leaving poor reviews when they clearly have not read the entire book 🤨 Anyways, ONLY giving four stars because it was probably my least favorite of the trilogy. But man I could read these forever! Every great story must come to an end. Thank you Freida for all the thrills!

Fantastic
Underwhelming at best
I’m very disappointed in this book. 80 chapters to tell the story was overly excessive. I truly believe we could’ve gotten to the point in half of that. There was too much filler information and it took FOREVER to get to the point. The ending was OK, but definitely not mind blowing.
