Thoroughly Enjoyable

A great selection of new Holmes and Watson stories told, for the most part, in very authentic voices. A few stories venture well outside the canon of Doyle; but those stories were enjoyable as well as extensions of Holmes just like the various recent movies or TV series. Highly enjoyable!

Highly enjoyable ... BUT

This audiobook was immensely entertaining. I own all of Mr Holmes adventures and listen to them over and over again (I am an illustrator and prefer audiobooks to music when I draw or paint). It was interesting to see where each author took Holmes and Watson. There were even some stories so true to Doyle that they'd get my vote to be added to the official universe.

My only compliant lies in sort of false advertising: Where's the Stephen King story? It's not in the audiobook. His name is on the cover of the printed book.
