The Insidious Dr. Fu Manchu (Unabridged‪)‬

The former Chinese mandarin, Fu Manchu, was part of (and possibly master of) a secretive Oriental organization dedicated to conquering the world, supported by a host of nefarious Middle Eastern and Oriental criminal organizations. His greatest nemesis was British investigator Sir Dennis Nayland Smith.
Fu Manchu was particularly known for his jade green hypnotic eyes: Nayland Smith was one of the few people who could meet his gaze without falling under their hypnotic power. The first of the popular mystery series introduces a pair of English detectives to their archnemesis, the diabolical Dr. Fu Manchu. Flavorful atmosphere, fast-paced action, and colorful characters enliven this classic of the genre.
