Jonathan Groff is incredibly talented and made the audio book that much more gripping since he is the only voice I can appreciate to tell Douglas’ stories other than the actual Douglas himself.

This book was so interesting and well written that I finished it in a few days. I couldn’t stop listening to it. Sort of like binge watching a tv show. Crime junkies will love it. You feel like you have the inside scoop when he tells us about his encounters and interviews with some of the most horrible men to ever live.

The author writes in a way that you can picture every interview and feel you are there. Every story, every case etc.

However, the book is very disturbing due to the detailed information shared about cases he worked on/serial killers he spoke with. He holds nothing back. It’s quite graphic so if you are squeamish, this is not for you.

Lastly, Jonathan Groff was the perfect person to narrate this book. I wish he was the voice behind all audiobooks he was so great.
